O' Licence Application Costs

VOSA's Application Fee (This is the fee for VOSA and the office of the Traffic Commissioners to process your application and decide if you can or can't have an operator's licence)	£250
VOSA's Interim Fee (An interim licence (if granted) allows you to start operating your vehicles while your main application is underway, this is optional)	£66
Public Notice Fee (We will place the public notice in a local newspaper that meets the required criteria, costs vary and are dependant on location but can be up to £350)	£350 (approx)
VOSA's Granting Fee (If the Traffic Commissioners approve your application, you have to pay this fee before VOSA will grant the licence)	£391

• Applying for an Interim Operator's Licence
If you simply can't wait to start operating your vehicles, you can apply for an interim while your main application is underway.



• Major Changes to an Operator's Licence
If you want to change the number of vehicles or trailers on your existing licence, or change operating centres then you will need to apply for a major change to your licence, we can manage this for you.


• Operator's Licence Compliance
Getting your licence is one thing, keeping it is another. When a Traffic Commissioner grants your operator's licence, it is just the start. VOSA will inspect and perform a site audit for every new operator (usually within 5 months of the granting of your licence). If you have no procedures to deal with tachograph analysis or pre-use inspections (which are legal requirements) then things can take a downturn very quickly
